The place was neat, clean, beautifull view and garden, the rooms well decorated, clean. This is a wonderfull place for family, business, romance, or just to find some peace. I have a teenager and he enjoyed the pool, it is well maintained and clean. Good service and very close to town, park and beach. more
we have stayed in many places in this area but not one comes close to the black horse. immaculate throughout.wonderful rooms.excellent owners and staff.very reasonable rates. we passed the info on to others, hope we can get in next time! more
Not having a reservation ahead of time we got stuck without a hotel room. Lobster Festival in Rockland made it harder to find a room. Passing by this immaculate hotel my husband said "Call this hotel". One room available, we took it. $89.00 a night for full bed, kitchenette, and wonderful hosts! We were thoroughly delighted with the Black Horse Inn, located in Lincolnville Maine just a few miles from Camden. We stayed an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and clean. We had plenty of room for our family of 5. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the grounds are beautiful.... more
This was our second stay at this Inn. We also stayed here during a trip in July 2003. Both times we found the room and Inn to be very clean and well maintained.
