Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love this campground. We have stayed here many times. Bruce, Patti and Heather are the best hosts. We've been here in a small rv, travel trailer, and larger rv. Sites have been great every time. We also enjoy the delicious soft serve ice cream they make. It's the best and very reasonably priced.

Peaceful waterfront campground. Great for families with its central playground and small swimming beach. Smallish sites width-wise (we have a 31 foot travel trailer) but most are pull-through. The campground has lots of mature trees giving a lovely look and feel to the place. VERY clean and well maintained bathrooms with showers (25 cents for 7.5 minutes). It was like a breath of fresh air to be greeted by the relaxed and friendly owners, Bruce & Patti Newhall. $30/night for a full hook-up or $27/night for water and electric (this is what we had). Free Wi-Fi. Highly recommend!

We stayed in our class A motor home during our travels from New Brunswick Canada south. We had a pull through site and were not far from the lake. The staff were very hospitable during check-in, a cute small store, and on a beautiful lake. The park is rural, but easy to maneuver in and out. The directions were a bit confusing going in, but with a GPS w made it fine. Overall, a small park but relaxing and nice.

Selected Christies campground because of location for hubby's work. We had the opportunity to drive through a few weeks before our check and checked out the site we were given. We arrived in a Sunday and stayed for the week. The campground is not large, about 70 sights, approximately 60% are permanent/ seasonal. Everyone we were in contact with were friendly, including the campers. Campground is located on the Sebasticook lake which is bigger than it looks. The laundry facility was nice. Did not use the bathrooms or showers. The office has a gift shop of T shirts, sweatshirts, hand made pocketbooks and a lot more all at super reasonable prices. Did I mention the soft ice cream? Very nice campground, well cared for, reasonable priced. Would return.

We stayed there 2 weeks visiting the great state of Maine. The owners are great hosts. There is a beautiful lake to view. The grounds are well kept. There is a nice play structure, although we have no children with us. We didn't use the bathing and laundry facilities as we have a motor home. The service is outstanding. We were waiting on a package from home. It went to a post office that doesn't open until 2:00 PM. We had to do a tracking on it. The postal service did not read the zip code. The owner was able to retrieve it on the day of our departure so we could leave on time. He delivered it to our door. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Maine again. Thanks so much.

We stayed in our RPod camper for 2 nights, while my sister and family stayed in one of their cabins on the lake that sleeps 6. Everything was above expectations--bathrooms were clean and functional; access and views of the lake were everywhere; service was personable and responsive. The cabin was well kept and homey; the kids loved the loft. Campground was quiet and other campers friendly and helpful. We would go again in a minute!
