We were heading up the coast of Maine and loved the beach of Ogunquit so much that we decided to stay. We drove around a bit and liked the outside look of the West Highland Inn. Luckily enough they had a vacancy. Our room was great! The decor was very charming but not kitchy, it was a very good sized... more

We just returned from a great stay at the West Highland Inn. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced and in the heart of Ogunquit. One block from the beach, local shops and restaurants are right across the street, the Ogunquit trolley stops less than a block away. more

We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time at the inn. Part of its charm is in its age so don't expect a hotel experience. The owner is very helpful and low keyed in his approach. We loved having drinks in the front yard with the gardens and people watch. We found that the majority of people during... more

Have just returned from a stay at the West Highland Inn, Ogunquit Maine. The inn is spotless, breakfast is delicious, location is marvelous. The inn is owned by a couple named Linda and Steve. Steve aims to please, but Linda gives a new meaning to the words nasty and rude. It is a shame she overshadows Steve to the point... more

Stayed at the West Highland Inn 8/25 - 8/27/06. This is just an average Inn. Has many rooms and parking is tight. The location of this inn is great, close to everything in town. The place does show alittle wear. Our bathroom needed a make over. The owner is very friendly. Many other Bed & Breakfast choices if we return... more

My husband and I stayed here recently and loved it. We had a very comfortable room and comfortable queen size bed. It is a quick walk to the beach. Breakfast is served in the outdoor porch with matching and color-coordinated table settings. One day we had pancakes with sausage with fresh fruit and coffee and juice. In the room was... more

My husband and I just spent three nights at the West Highland Inn. The Inn is very charming, clean and reasonably priced, and the innkeepers very hospitable. To top it off, the breakfasts are delicious. In addition, the Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Ogunquit, making it easy to walk to restaurants, movies, shops and the beach. more

We have stayed at the West Highland Inn numerous times. It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with a lovely living room and breakfast porch, overlooking a pretty garden, front lawn, complete with glider swings. The Inn is right in the center of town, a great location. Linda and Steve, the innkeepers, are very sweet. There is a set breakfast,... more

Definitely check out this place if you want to save money vs. staying at Sparhawk. It's at least 30 bucks less per night, and the owners are VERY willing to help out/make last minute changes. My 4 month old son was along with us, so we needed a refrigerator - the owner switched us to a bigger room with a... more
