My husband and I stayed this past week, in what might have been bleak weather, but the weather changed, and the sun came out. The room was really an apartment... bright and airy, with sitting, dining, kitchenette, separate bath and bedroom, and a lovely balcony overlooking the water. We were very pleased and highly recommend it The location is superb,... more

To all who do not know Michael he is a really nice guy when you get to know him. We have been staying here since the 1980s. without reservations and whith and we have always had great service. We plan on going and stay here again this year 2009. more

They take your money without a smile. You'll get nothing fancy (I'm telling you -- nothing). They treat you like they don't want you to ever come back (and we won't). Don't bother going to anyone with an issue. Michael, the guy at the desk, can't even look you in the eye when you talk to him let alone do... more

My family and I (husband and 4y/o son) just got back from a wonderful stay at the Aspinquid. It was out first time staying here and we are already talking about booking for next year. Check In: First let me say that we arrived at about 10AM and were allowed to park at the hotel instead of paying to park... more

The Aspinquid offers a great location to the beach, but don't expect any more than that. Their motto of "fine lodging" is almost laughable. Lets call it what it is: A no-frills motel with a short walk to both the beach and the shops in town. The rooms were clean and they did offer great views from the balcony. The... more

We stayed at the Aspinquid end of August. I heard of it through a colleage who stayed there and reported that it was "not so hot, but well located." This was from somebody who is used to really luxury hotels so I thought we would try it. OK. You avoid the $12 to $15 parking fee. You have a balcony.... more

As a seasonal beach community there really are not any facilities that rank as luxury accomodations in Oqunquit. The Aspinquid has some advantages over other choices, but also has some drawbacks. The single best advantage the Aspinquid has is its proximity to the beach and center of town. Once you park in the lot at the Aspinquid, you don't have... more

You cannot beat the location of this resort. Yes, there are nicer places to stay in Ogunquit -- e.g., the Sparhawk, the Meadowmere, Sea Castles, etc. But the view of the ocean and the proximity to the beach and center of town cannot be beat. The rooms are very clean and the staff is good. The only complaint I have... more

We we so looking forward to staying at the Aspinquid after walking past it many times on our last trip to Ogunquit. The proximity to the beach and the private balconies really enticed us. The rooms are very clean, however, very noisy. We could hear people in the next room clanging their dishes and opening and closing the patio door.... more

My family has stayed at this family run resort for 12 years. The location on Beach Street, right at the edge of the bridge to the main beach, can't be beat! In 5 minutes we are either at the beach or in the center of town. We get the one bedroom suite with a full kitchen including microwave. Each unit... more
