We just spent a glorious week here. Even in the rain the views of the cove and ocean added up to a wonderful stay. Geoff and his staff could not have been friendlier. Thanks to B and B our room was spotless. Quiet, yet the busy cove was enjoyable to watch. Shops and dining a walk across the bridge. Just... more

Sounds like jamabroad was there the same week I was. I echo her sentiments entirely!! Geoff is a natural host, very welcoming and personable. It was my first stay at the Riverside and I will be a regular now. The price is reasonable and the rooms clean, the bathroom looked to be recently updated. The best features are outside the... more

My fiancé and I spent a weekend in Ogunquit after having driven through the town previously and falling in love with it. If I had to pick 1 word to describe the Riverside it would be Location. The Riverside is ideally located in Ogunquit hovering right over historic Perkins Cove. Every room stares out at either Perkins Cove, the Ocean,... more

My wife and I spent our 10 year anniversary at the Riverside and could not have been happier. Great location, sparkling clean rooms, spectacular service, picturesque views and Congdon's Doughnuts & Coffee for breakfast...how can you beat that! We'll be back every year. more

Having spent the last several years at various other motels and resorts, Mrs. G and I decided last year to try the Riverside while having rum punch at Barnacle Billy's. It looked so nice across the cove. Well, we weren't disappointed. Geoff has one of the best properties we've stayed anywhere. Everything is in top notch shape and the view... more

This is a lovely motel and a fabulous location! the room was not fancy but appeared to have been recently refurbished with new carpet and was very spacious and comfortable. we travel to the coast of maine each summer and have stayed in many hotels but we are almost always disappointed. we often find that lovely exteriors lead to shabby... more

We were recently on a two week motoring tour and just happened to come across the Riverside Motel. The perfect find! The room was comfortable and the view over to the harbour was lovely to wake up to! We spent an excellent evening in one of the harbourside restaurants, enjoying the sunset and a relaxing drink. Before departing we had... more

On a recent road trip / mini vacation we stumbled upon the Riverside. Being before tourist season we payed $92.00 for the night, bright and spacious with comfortable king sized bed. With a nice balcony to enjoy the view of the harbor and a glass of wine, it was really pleasant. We were awakened in the morning by the bright... more

Just returned from a stay at The Riverside in Ogunquit and the location cannot be beat! For the very reasonable cost of the room I had a clean and comfortable king bed in a fairly large room (though the bath is a bit tight) and a large deck overlooking Perkins Cove and the beautiful boats docked there. Also got a... more

We actually stayed at the Riverside 2 years ago but are planning to return this summer so I thought I would write a review. It really is a lovely, clean, well-run hotel with comfortable, well-equipped rooms. The view of Perkins Cove is very beautiful, and the location convenient. We walked back and forth to the Cove many times during our... more
