Finding a hotel online in this area is a bit dodgy. Many websites show sample hotel room pictures from various properties, but they are either obviously decades old or severely fuzzed out. I chose Bourne's because the picture was clear enough to see that there was no paneling or 1970's era furniture, which suggested the owner's had actually cared for... more

Room was clean. Easy access to the beach. On the cusp of "value," as I did not want to pay too much but still expected a clean room and decent service, along with a pool. Got all of these. We stayed at the Bourne Motel on 25-26 July. This motel is very well situated in Ogunquit. It is really 6 minutes from the beach on foot (via Ocean St.) Parking is expensive ($15) at the beach so if you have not too many things to carry, you can walk.
