We stayed here for two nights recently, the room was clean and perfectly adequate but there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel and the road that you need to walk along to find one is a fast road without a sidewalk in parts. The options for breakfast were a little on the sweet side (and I have a... More

Southern Maine is such a beautiful area but this hotel is aweful! The rooms are musty, the staff unfriendly and the management RUDE and unaccommodating! I would pass this place up in a second! There are many other options for accommodations in the area that WAY surpass this place! More

Also known as the Ogunquit River Inn and Suites. Very dated (70s?) motel, and smelly room. Empty soda bottles outside room door. Rude help. Tried to help myself to the free continental breakfast after 10am not knowing they turned off the waffle machines. The irate, scraggly dressed old fellow on duty fumed, "Looks like we have a problem here." Looks... More

We love to stay at the Oqunquit River Plantation. My husband and I only get a day off every few weeks so we want those days to be great. We drive to Maine from New Hamsphire and always stay at the Plantation. The hotel is close to shopping and the ocean. The rooms are very clean and large. It has... More

We paid about 230 a night during the week to stay here and thought it was totally overpriced for what it was. The buildings are fairly old and the accommodations are dated with horrible decor and old-school tv, fridge, etc. Our fridge was missing the knob for the temperature control and there was mold on the inside of our shower... Our room was very far from the main desk and breakie area - a steep up/downhill walk. Breakie was so-so - nothing special. Rooms are so-so - need updating. Grounds are beautiful and so was the view - even on the lowest level. Bus to beach was great - but should have it's last run at 5:00 not 4:00pm. Pool... More

For the past three or four years now my husband and I have stayed for a week, usually in June, at the Ogunquit River Plantation and have never been disappointed! The location is close to plenty of restaurants and not a far drive to beautiful Ogunquit Beach and Perkins Cove. They provide a shuttle bus to the beach for those... More

We stayed for 4 nights in a King room that shared a balcony with an adjoining room. Room was spacious and comfortable. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck looking at the river. We originally had asked for the King room with a small kitchen area but it was a little mildewy smelling and we asked to move to... More
