We booked three nights at Wild Fox Resort this past August. The cabin was outstandingly clean, with all the amentities you could ask for. Dave and Lori go above and beyond to make sure you have the vacation you dreamed of. We also rented one of their boats for the three days of our trip, which comes with a full tank of gas everyday, along with a first class Garmin GPS. We will be returning in the future, and recommend Wild Fox Resort to anyone interested in a relaxing, get-a-way, stress free time away. We can't wait until they build their lodge and provide food at the resort. This will be coming in the near future. more

We had some problem getting there but once we found it, it was all worth it!
This newly opened resort is truly immersed in the most splendid and intact nature. Our family had just flown from Paris (France) to Boston and we arrived in WILD FOX RESORT by night. It took us an (emotionally loaded) while to locate the place in the dark (a four wheel drive is highly recommended). But the warm and caring welcome we got made it all worth it. And so did the rest of our stay…
The bungalows, with mezzanine and front porch are spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The boat, canoe, and kayak rentals offer a quick and easy way to visit miles of beautiful landscape. If really you are into fishing, you will not be disappointed - but if you care for Nature in a more deferential way, you will be able to witness it in its most virgin beauty.
This stay has been our best experience in Maine. We all loved it. …If only it was closer to Paris!!! more
