Just spent a long weekend in Portland and stayed at the Hampton Inn Portland Downtown. The hotel staff was wonderful and the hotel shuttle was always willing to take us anywhere. The Hampton Inn staff went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure and assisted us in enjoying our first visit to Portland. Gail went out of her way to make sure that we had kosher bagels for breakfast and Casey drove us anywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at the downtown Portland, Maine Hampton Inn and the great service started literally when we pulled into the driveway. The valet staff were courteous, helpful, and very, very polite. Being next to a Sebago Brewing Company restaurant sealed the deal. We will be back to the Hampton in the future.

This relatively new hotel is terrific and priced better than the nearby Residence Inn, which we enjoyed before this hotel was built.
