We made it a point this year not to go to Lobster Fest,so...We decided to stay at the Navigator Inn, What a mistake, if you don't mind picking up condom wrappers, popcorn , old soap abars from the bathroom and old books, I guess you could say it was ok. After complaing, they only charged me for one nite, but... more

Our room was absoultey disguisting and unacceptable. When we checked in and got in our room there were toenail clippings and pieces of potato chips all over the carpet!!!! Plus, our bathroom had soaking wet towels from the previous guest still hanging in the bathroom. If there was another hotel available, trust me, I would have checked out immediately, but... more

Lots of cigarette burns in the carpet in this no-smoking room. Paint missing from the bottom 1" of the door. Paint peeling from the ceiling (small spots, but). Pipe removed and the hole stuffed with paper. more

Asked for a quiet room. At 2:30 in the morning the TV in the next room came on at 120 decibels. Then two voices began shouting over the tv. Called the desk. The night clerk told me, and I quote,"OH, that's the band. They've just finished playing. They need some time to decompress." I replied that it was 2:30 in the... more

The room was real roomy and the staff was really great and friendly. The company I worked for booked the room (suite) for me for 25 years of service. We really enjoyed the 3 night stay. When we mentioned a small complaint the management took care of it promptly. On the whole I would stay here again . I would... more

The Navigator Motor Inn is your very basic convenient (you can walk anywhere) motel. We stayed here one night during the recent Blues Festival, so we paid a premium, but at other times I think the rates are pretty cheap. You get what you pay for. The room included a complimentary buffet breakfast (your basic juice/carbs & coffee) We selected... more

If you are looking for a quick place to stay and willing to pay for it then this is the place for you. My husband and I had no where else to stay that was in Rockland so we had to stay there. We will not be going back. It is a low budget hotel but you pay the price.... more

Located right across the street from the ferry terminal, my husband and I found a great deal in the mini-suite that we got at the Navigator. Although a basic 'motor inn', our room was large and clean, with a comfortable bed and a great rate. Call ahead to request a room with a view of the bay. We would stay... more

We stayed at The Navigator for 2 nights in early August during the Lobster Fest. This is a very nice property - we had a forth floor balcony room - we had a nice view of the harbor - no complaints. I would say the only negative was that this motel is in town and our view was compromised by... more

This motel is across the street (Route US 1) from the Vinalhaven ferry terminal. Most guests stay at the motel to be close to attractions and events throughout mid-coast Maine. The motel room was clean and did not smell. The furniture and fixtures are basic - cable TV is provided and a window air conditioner. The staff is friendly and... more
