After bicycling the Park Loop we stopped and had lunch. We were treated to relaxed atmosphere, good food, attentive staff, reasonable prices. Don't go there if you want white table cloths and candles. They creatively modified a menu selection to meet dietary needs.

We stayed in the pink room for 2 nights during our honeymoon in 2007. Some staff had been staying in the room adjoined to us. We found out they had been spying on us thru keyhole. We called the cops, got our $ back and left. DONT STAY THERE!!!!! I have the police report to prove this is real.

The herb-crusted rack of lamb was great! Cooked to perfection! The lobster stew was very tasty too.

We stayed in the blue room. On the plus side, it is spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. However, the bathroom is very small with a flimsy accordion-style door. The price for the rooms are very reasonable. We had the gold room which was a little tight and the bathroom was very small. It's worth the price for a day or two. we didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on it.

We have had dinner at the Lighthouse a number of times and throughly enjoyed the classic downeast hospitality and delicious food. Great service and plan to dine their again. Well worth it.
