Enchanted Inn and pets welcome! Nestled in a Sherwood-like forest of blue spruce, white pine, elm and oak, the Inn Britannia is like stepping into another world. From the walkways of English gardens, to the elegant tea room, tables set in lace, fresh flowers and tea services of Chinaware to die for, warmed in the glow of a wood fire... more

The problem we had with our stay at Inn Britannia was that it was too short! It was the first time for our daughter (3 yo) to stay at a B&B, and we had no idea whether she would enjoy it, it turned out she had a great time, and so did we. We stayed in the "housekeeping" apartment, which... more

We stayed at Inn Britannia for a long weekend last month, ever since we got back I've been thinking: when can we go again? We came upon Inn Britannia while "googling" for a place to stay for our trip, and were intrigued by its English theme. The innkeeper (Caren) was very friendly on the phone, and explained the features of... more

Our stay at the Inn Britannia was definitely one of the high points of my daughter's wedding weekend. The accommodations are superior--we had everything we needed and more. The innkeepers were so warm and welcoming; we felt very much at home and "among friends". They were consistently available to provide great information and help to negotiate our plans and schedule... more

We found this Inn through friends we travel with. The Inn was beautiful, and the owners were wonderful. They made us feel like family. The rooms were spacious and very cozy. They made sure that any special needs you may have were taken care of. The breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend to any one traveling in this area... more

Why cross the pond to the UK and suffer the financial consequences of the devaluation of the dollar when you can so much more easily travel to Searsport, Maine to Inn Birtannia and enjoy a similar experience for pennies on the dollar? The Inn Britannia is phenomenal. The innkeepers are devoted to ensuring that each guest is enormously comfortable. The... more

We wished we had more time to spend there. The room was lovely, with comfortable updated amenities presented with an old world flare. Our three year old loved having her room, a purple claw foot tub, and cats available for the squeezing. She has a tricky diet and the owners were more than accommodating. I don't think you could find... more

We have stayed in B&B's all over the World and many B&B's in England. This was just being back in "blighty". A wonderful experience and very relaxing. Caren and Susan are great hosts with knowledge of the local sightseeing trips which we took great advantage of. Then we would relect on the day with a class of wine with them... more

My girlfriend and I spent a long time searching for a B+B to serve as a base for exploring the area and spending a day or two hiking in Acadia. Our conversations with the innkeepers convinced us that this was the place to go. We were not disappointed. The Inn is beautifully appointed, spotless and comfortable. We stayed in the... more
