Stayed here for one night on business. The guys I was visiting were concerned for me ("Have you seen the place?" they asked) and were staying at a Holiday Inn a town or two away. Wonderful motel if you are heading to or from Canada on 201, or if you are enjoying central Maine along the Kennebec. The owner told me he knew people who stayed at the Belmont wanted a peaceful night of rest and he wanted to insure they got one! Needed a place to stay for a night while driving through Maine, ended up at The Belmont Motel. Great little place, close to everything you need... Walmart, gas stations, Mc Donald's, etc. The room was very affordable and absolutely, without a doubt the cleanest place I've ever stayed away from home! Appeared to be recently remodeled/updated. Our most favorite place to stay in Skowhegan. The owners are friendly and the rooms and amenities are the best in the town, although it is a standard motel.
