The hotel is beautifully appointed, in both the public and private areas. My guest room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and conversational. The shuttle driver (whose name I unfortunately did not get) gave us great recommendations for local sights to see. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Portland! more

My wife and I traveled to Maine to see Fall colors. We stayed on the concierge level for a weekend in October. The rooms are nicely decorated. Our room however, had mold in the bathroom grout. We liked the free parking and pool. Each afternoon cookies and cider are available in the lobby along with coffee in the am. The hotel is located close to Interstate 95 but set back in a wooded area which is quiet. The children enjoyed the pool. The workout facilities are okay. If you are a business traveler, the current construction doesn't really change the quality or service of the hotel. The construction occurs between 7 am and 4 pm and they do honestly stick to that.
