The Claremont has an old fashion cottagey coastal feel to it. The view from the room was spectacular. This turned out to be the perfect place for a reprieve from the crowded and tacky Bar Harbor scene. The rooms were tastely decorated and the location was quite stunning. In the early evening we enjoyed great cocktails in the boathouse and later that night we had a warm fire in the room's fireplace. We did not dine there. more
