We stayed a week in the Sand Dollars Suite. When we entered the suite, I was very pleased since it looked exactly as the pictures on the site. And overall, everything was better than expected. Beds were comfortable, kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils, everything was of good quality (sturdy steak knives, etc.) Only thing missing was a coffee machine in the... more

Cleanliness and friendly front office are the best features if you don't mind road noise from 7:00 am to past midnight. Rooms are within fifty feet of Route 1 near a traffic light, so trucks, cars and motorcycles are constantly accelerating and decelerating out front. The suites building is a converted old house which has renovated rooms, but allows noise... more

My husband and I wanted to spend our honeymoon on the coast of Maine and decided to stay in one of these cottages. It was so clean, sweet and reasonably priced and the people were so friendly that we have been back every year to celebrate our anniversary. If you're looking for a quiet place that is close to the beach... more

We have stayed in this hotel every year for the past 3 years. The hotel all together could use some improvment. The hotel rooms are very dingy and old looking. The beds are so sqeeky and hard it makes your back hurt the next morning. The office has coffee avaliable in the mornings but it would be nice to have... more

This is a family-owned establishment which made it even more personal, our family was even visited by the owner's adorable dog when our back door was open! My kids were thrilled!!!! My family stayed in the Sand dollars suite at The Coast Village Inn & Cottages and it was wonderful. The suite is very nicely decorated with a coastal feel.... more

My sister and I recently stayed two days at the Coast Village Inn. It was your average motel, nothing fancy, but clean enough. We were on the top floor in the back section, so road noise was not a problem for us. The cottages set close to road so noise could be a problem with them. A trolly stop was... more

Stayed here for a summer 3 day trip. The front desk person is actually the owner a very nice guy. The cottage ( #1 hosuekeeping cottage) is nice and clean and spacious. Has a bed and a pull out sofa,a kitchen and bathroom with a stand up shower. All dishes are supplied for you. Only downfall is the cottage is... more

We went to Wells for 4 days to visit the coast of Maine and decided to stay at this Motel because it was the cheapest with good review in the cities of Ogunquit, Kennebunk and Wells. We had one of the queen bed rooms in front of the road. Very noisy because of the road. The smell in the room... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We turned up at night, and basically just went to bed, and left early the next morning. So I don't have a lot to say about this place....except that the staff on check-in seemed very nice and the room was good. The bathroom was a little dated in decor but everything... more
