Just got back from having spent one night at the Tallwood Motel on our way to Cape Cod. Were very apprehensive because of the reviews, but booked there anyway as the Tallwood had been recommended by friends of ours who have stayed there four times... and so glad we did! First of all, let me say the pool was fine. I have probably stayed at 20 different motels in Wells/Ogunquit and this one was one of the less desirable. The rooms were OK but only OK. This place was inexpensive & the room was clean. My problem with it was the carpeting & the overall environs. Your typical roadside motel-ordinary, lackluster grounds.
