After a terrible experience at another hotel, this was a very welcoming establishment. The rooms were nice and clean. The kitchenette was well equipped. The best feature was that that the beach was right across the street. The stairs to reach the beach itself was a short walk away. I would recommend. more

I just came back from a reunion weekend in Maine and stopped for an overnight at York Beach. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The Sunrise is right across from the beach, however, 2 years ago storms destroyed many of the stairways from the street level down to the sandy beach (about a 10 foot drop) and they have not yet been replaced. The facility is acceptable if you don't mind walking about a half mile to the first set of steps or climbing... more

The Sunrise was very comfortable. The location couldn't be better, right on the ocean. Excellent views of Nubble light. The room was updated and very clean. The efficiency kitchen came in handy. Overall an excellent experience. Going back in August. more
