We had a wonderful night at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. Su & Andy the hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Everyone that arrived with us enjoyed their rooms and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast topped off our stay. The inn is clean, comfortable, convenient, exceptionally charming, and refreshingly quiet, and the owners are friendly, helpful, great chefs, and very considerate. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to York! More

Our second stay at Tanglewood for our anniversary and Andy and Sue run a fantastic place. My wife loves it. Breakfast is decadent and the rooms very comfortable. You can't go wrong staying here. The pups love to play too so they'll entertain you at breakfast. More

I had read the reviews prior to booking, but my stay was totally unlike the reports on this site. This was my experience: The hosts were most ungracious and rude.
