The Peralynna Inn does not truly honor gift certificates and they try to squeeze as much money out of their guests as they can. I bought a gift certificate for my mother for Christmas last year in the amount of $450. This was supposed to cover a one night stay and 2 $75 massages. I purchased the gift certificate directly... more

The Inn at Peralynna is a dream! The hotel style inn was recently renovated and has beautiful furnishings throughout. The staff was available for any question we had about the area and suggested a lovely restaurant, The Iron Bridge, for a romantic dinner. The owners, David and Cynthia Lynn, really go above and beyond to make the guests feel welcomed... more

My husband and I arrived wearily after a long, tough five hour drive from NYC. The Yankees were going to play in Baltimore and everyone was on the highway. As we started up the staircase to the front door my husband tripped on a step which quickly brought our attention to just how unattractive, cheap and tacky the front entrance... more

When we entered the inn, there were several framed certificates stating Peralynna Inn, Best inn in North America, Peralynna Inn - Best Inn in Maryland. Awards well deserved. Peralynna is certainly the best inn we’ve stay in in quite a while. And David the owner was running it all by himself since his helper did not show up Sunday morning... more

I stayed at the INN for 3 nights with a friend. The INN was very quiet (I think we saw maybe 4 other guests during our 3 night stay) and pleasant. The staff was very accomodating when needed and otherwise were very hands off (made us feel more like we were in a home than a hotel). The breakfast was... more

Absolutely beautiful inside and out! We stayed here over Labor Day weekend for three nights and had a fabulous time. We had somewhat of a difficult time finding it but that was only because of the poor roadsigns and numerous streets with the same name. The entire Inn was very clean and tiddy. The decor was very nice and elegant.... more

We spent the weekend here recently and found it to be a DUMP. If you are looking for a relaxing beautiful Inn, this is NOT the place. The property inside and out is poorly maintained, worn wood floors, filthy berber carpet and tons of mismatched stuff throughout. The rooms have nice foam beds but only 2 pillows - for a... more

Purchased a weekend stay for my daughters birthday. She felt like she was living a dream. The room was beautiful and they had put in flowers and balloons for her. Could not have been nicer. THANK YOU Peralynna and Staff more

We could not have been more pleased. The service was unparalleled, they seemed to anticipate our every need, we were delighted with our very private 7 course dinner served in our room, which worked out great because we couldn't seem to tear our selves away from our jacuzzi with the plasma TV so we ate in the tub! (facing the... more

We stayed at The Inn at Peralynna Manor for one night. The price was outrageous, the room smelled of burnt marijuana and the breakfast was just average. Your money would be better spent at a local hotel. more

Management response from

We have never had any complaints of this magnitude. We are and have always been a smoke free environment. Why were we not notified at the time of their stay of this complaint As far as the breakfast, we always get rave reviews. We have an excellent staff here at Peralynna and we truly enjoy our guests.
