I recently spent a long weekend at The Tidewater Inn with a few members of my family while others stayed at the nearby Hampton Inn. (I am a "hotel snob" and refused to stay at the Hampton Inn...) Our stay was luxurious without being pretentious and restful. The rooms are small by today's standards, but the beds were the best... more

We arrived an hour before check-in and the hotel staff was able to accommodate us right away. It is a slow period, but I suspect from the wonderful attention we received, they would be consistent throughout all time periods. Dan greeted us with a warm smile and was great with advice on restaurants and local things to do and see.... more

We stayed at the Tidewater on a Saturday night and didn't realize that our room was situated directly over the outdoor patio adjacent to the bar. There was so much commotion that finally at midnight we called the front desk and asked to be moved. They responded promptly and moved us directly across the hall to a room overlooking the... more

Easton is a great little town to visit for a day or so and Tidewater is perfectly located right in the historic downtown area. The bottom line with this hotel is that there is nothing exceptionally noteworthy about it but at the same time I have no complaints either. The rooms are smaller but comfortable. I read some other reviews... more

I stayed for a weekend with friends for Mom's get-a-way weekend. We were planning to tour St. Micheal's and had difficulting making reservations that would work (and be affordable) for our group. My sister reccomended the Tidewater. I had driven through Easton before and knew that it was a beauftiful historic town so I checked the website. I was a... more

Stayed for one night, July 19, 2009. We requested two connecting rooms, which we received. One room with two double beds and a King size bedroom. We also stayed a year ago this past July and our stay was just as pleasant as the first. The rooms are clean, comfortable and charming. The only difference I noticed in this second... more

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in June with our small dog. We had an awful experience. This hotel claims to be dog friendly but it was not the case for us. I would not even call it guest friendly. The walls are paper thin so if a dog barks, in reality, the entire floor can hear... more

We were in Annapolis for a wedding and had heard how great the town of St. Michaels was so we thought we'd add a few days to our trip to check it out. Turns out St. Michaels was twice the price of Easton, MD so we stayed at The Tidewater. Turned out to be the best choice. We have stayed... more

We stayed two nights in a suite for just a little more than the price of a room. The rooms were spacious, clean, well funished and nicely decorated. Everything seemed fairly new, and the staff was uniformly helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfast (included in the price) was not elaborate, but was adequate. Valet parking was $10 extra. Would certainly stay... more
