This far exceeded my expectations for a no-frills hotel (espec ially after the motel 6 I stayed at the night before). Almost a "park-like" setting in a good location. My husband, hounds, and I stayed here this past weekend on our way back home to NY from Tennessee. Check-in was fast, friendly, and easy. The room was adequate for our needs. Motel 6 was awful. The carpet was damp. We hung our towels to dry for the next day and they wouldn't dry because it was so damp in the room. The air conditioner had a big glob of mold as big as a softball in it. Never again. more

I stayed at the motel 6 in hagerstown, Md on June 10-2003 & will never ever stay at a Motel 6 again.For the large price they charged the customer service was terrible- very ignorant- no tissues- no microwave- no refrigerator- no soap. The police had to be called as teeneagers were pounding on the door of our room at midnight... more
