Just so you know, I already read all the reviews for this hotel before I booked. Sometimes you have to overlook a few bad experiences an just bite the bullet and try for yourself. I stayed at this hotel for a few days over my birthday. I chose this hotel for the price and how close it was to DC... more

Did not meet our expectations. Arrived at night and were surprised to see the counter behind bullet proof glass. Questionable people hanging out in front of the hotel at night. We did not feel safe at all although staff assured that the area is safe .... Room was smelling bad and was kind of grubby. Breakfast was okay but not... more

I recently stayed again at this hotel and the improvement was just obvious. Renovated rooms, more comfortable bed and friendly employees. Even the housekeepers greeted me with a smile. Good value for the money I paid. more

The bulletproof glass at the lobby desk should have tipped me off. We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to FedEx Field. The reservation associate told us there was a grocery store across the street (Actually it was an abandonned mall in the process of being converted to a WalMart--not open yet) and she said the neighboorhood was... more

My friend and I stayed at this property for (1) one night. Our check in process was great. The desk agent Cynthia was excellent. We were checked into room #402. Upon opening the door the lights did not turn on to the room, so Cythnia changed our room to #105. The first problem we found was that the heat did... more

I am writing this review in this hotel on my last night here. After getting Robbed by gunpoint in the local Metro Station I decided this area is just not for me. I don't blame the hotel as its area that is the problem. I paid $71.00 a night for the 2 nights and I still think I over paid.... more

If I had read the reviews first I may not have choosen this hotel, but the location was excellent for us and the price was right. The desk clerk was extremely polite when we checked in and because we were staying 6 nights offered us a room with a microwave and refrigerator. The workout room had a few basic pieces... more

I was looking for a good rate for a hotel close to DC. First impression was a bit deceiving as the neighborhood looked like it had seen better days. However, the hotel itself met all our needs. Good air conditioning for the muggy evenings, close to many fast food restaurants, and hospitable staff. Close to the New Carrolton Metroline. Since... more
