We don't recommend this location for families or solo female travelers. The hotel itself is very worn. The price is good for Washington DC but the value is not good. Unfortunately, the next level of hotels we found were considerably more expensive (ex. +$50). But this is one of those times that it is worth paying more. more

We had a comfortable stay while we were visiting family in Maryland. This hotel has a great central location, the staff was eager to help us... we have a lot of stuff because we have a baby. Clean room,, beds average hotel comfort. Didn't find anything wrong with the linens, etc, except one day the bath mat and a set of towels weren't replaced. Lightbulb missing from one lamp. Stayed one night at this hotel over Easter break to attend a church event and spend a day in DC. The location was about 15 mins from the Greenbelt Metro station which we took into Washington DC. Plenty of restaurants in vicinity of the hotel but we were exhausted and opted to get delivery--there are no takeout menus or suggestions... more

I took an Amtrak from Orlando to Washington DC and then caught the subway out to Greenbelt, Maryland where someone from the hotel picked me up. Not many hotels in this price range offer a compimnetary shuttle and it's a nice perk. If you decide to use the complimentary shuttle, be sure to call a day or two in advance.... more
