Hotel's Favourite
The staff is very friendly and professional. Everything is clean. The room is comfortable from the AC to the bed and shower is hot and water pressure is awesome. Absolutely no issues. It's always our "go to place" while going through Baltimore. Shuttle service was unavailable, but they had Lyft which worked out awesome.

Great place to stay and it's a stone's throw from BWI. This hotel has meeting spaces a nice facility for workout room, and the newly updated Lobby restaurant makes nice fresh cook to order breakfast :-) I love the Hilton Garden Inn because they serve real bacon and the breakfast is not a Cheesy and cheap little freezer waffle dump. Rooms are clean and Rumi with brand new huge 65 inch Samsung TVs and beds are soft as ever. My pillow was the fluffiest I had ever seen and I slept like a dream baby :-) definitely staying here next time at BWI

Stay Report - 9/25 to 9/26
Location: The hotel is on Nursery Road near most of the other BWI Airport hotels though a little farther north than most of the other BWI Airport hotels. It's at the same intersection with the Hyatt Place and a block from both a Cracker Barrell and a Ruby Tuesday. Within a mile are a number of other places to eat including Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Chik-Fil-A, Chilis and a local sports bar.
Hotel: The hotel is a standard airport HGI which is relatively new and in good shape. The lobby is very pleasant and there's a nice pantry there now which is making up for the fact that the restaurant is closed. Do note that currently most services are suspended. While the business center is open there is no airport shuttle. That was a rude awakening when I arrived.
Check In: The agent was nice enough and said that she'd give me points as there was no breakfast but of course the stay posted without the Diamond bonus points.
Room: One of the nicer redesigned HGI rooms awaited me. I had a large king bed with outlets next to it, a good work space and large TV and an upgraded shower. As part of the cost cutting you no longer get body lotion it seems. Noise was not an issue and the Wifi worked well.
Breakfast: Currently just grab and go. To call the items pathetic is an insult to other things that are pathetic.
Overall avoid this property until things get back to normal. Other airport properties have kept their shuttle. I ended up spending $30 for Ubers.

I've stayed here before and like it very much. Nice touches like lemon water in the lobby, soft pillows and bedding, clean rooms. This was my first time on the first floor and do not recommend it - floodlights shone into our room all night and there are not proper blackout curtains to mitigate it; the a/c provides no white noise to obscure the sound of the unbelievably loud/rude guests talking in the hallway at midnight as though it's noon; traffic sounds are too close. We'll stay here again, as we come here regularly, but will specifically request no first floor room.

I stayed 3 nights for a conference at the Maritime Conference Center. The room was very comfortable, modern, and clean. They had free coffee in the lobby, and the receptionists were all helpful. The best part were the free shuttles to and from the airport and the Maritime Conference Center. The shuttles to the Maritime Conference Center ran every 30 minutes and left the hotel on time, every time.
When I arrived at BWI airport, I called the hotel and they immediately arranged for a shuttle to pick me up in front of the baggage claim; it took about 20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive so I would suggest you call the hotel while you're waiting for your bags. Depending on your Hilton Honors status, you may get bonus points or free breakfast. Overall very good stay.

I rarely take time to write reviews but I feel like this “hotel” warrants it. From check in to check out, it was one thing after another. We stayed during a lacrosse tournament because these were the accommodations booked for the tournament. . It took over an hour to check in at arrival. The woman at the front desk couldn’t find our reservation. It wasn’t just us; there was literally a line out the door. During the check in process I foolishly chose to ignore lots of calls that should have been red flags: toilets leaking, bugs in rooms, no housekeeping was available, a/c wasn’t working. These were the one sided calls I heard while I was waiting at the desk for help.
The staff are mostly friendly but they appear grossly understaffed. There was garbage in the hallway and piles of towels over multiple days. Empty beer bottles and dirty dishes in the elevator every morning. I requested fresh towels each morning between 9 and 2, as per the instructions in the room and was told there was no one available in housekeeping. We were told the hotel no longer offers housekeeping at all during stays. They only change linens between stays.
Our AC unit was leaking so that when you stepped on the carpet in a three foot vicinity, water squished up through the carpet. I called to let the front desk know twice and they seem genuinely concerned and said they’d take care of it right away but no one ever showed up. I’d have just left the hotel all together if we weren’t in the middle of a tournament and gone most of the time for games. The clientele during the week seem to be BWI crew. The weekend is a different story. There were doors propped open in the hallway with ten or fifteen people hanging out in the rooms. I assume they were there to use the pool. The hallway reeked of marijuana on the weekend. Spare yourself a major headache and just pick somewhere else to stay.

In the past we stayed at the BWI HIlton when we flew in or out of BWI. The price this time around was pretty steep at the time we booked (even though it came down closer to our trip), but we opted to try the Hilton Garden Inn and stuck with this decision. There we encountered warm and wonderful staff people (e.g., James, Antonio, Luiz) and a very well-kept facility (which was somewhat newer than the BWI Hilton). I suspect we will come back to this one.

When I checked in, I was asked for a credit card. Since my room wasI prepaid, I asked why my card was required? It would be used for incidental fees that occurred during my stay, otherwise it wouldn’t be charged.
By the time I settled in my room, my card was charged $190. The staff told me it was “just a hold.”
I checked out yesterday and still haven’t been refunded my money. I will never make reservations at this establishment again.

Good afternoon Mr. Christopher, I really need to understand better your situation so I may respond properly -- Please fee free to contact me personally at Kenneth.White@Hilton.com so I can locate your reservation and properly respond. The hotel is required to receive payment for the stay and/or incidentals -- this is the case at every hotel but we do not take 190 to do so. Typically an authorization is requested for room and tax along with a 50.00 deposit for incidentals. If there was a mistake made you surely have my apologies but I would like to understand the nature of your reservation so I can dig into this a lot deeper. Respectfully, Ken White General Manager

My reservation was canceled without notice; no email or text. I never received a receipt either. I called a customer service rep who wasn’t very helpful but she was nice. She couldn’t understand why the reservation was canceled. I had to make another reservation. So embarrassing and inconvenient. Customer service rep asked me how much was the cost of the room for my second night on the reservation even though she was viewing my canceled reservation. I told her my rate on the reservation and she still charged me a higher rate. I didn’t understand that. So overall I paid more for my room than my initial reservation. I used a corporate discount for the room. I get a corporate discount from Lockheed Martin for the Marriott as well so I’ve sighed up for their rewards program and got approved for a credit card. I’m going with the bigger hotel chain. I’m done with the Hilton. I’m not happy with level of service I received. This is the first time I’ve been less than satisfied with their service.
I did a timeshare in Myrtle Beach in September 2021 and the rep I worked with was so disrespectful. He called me a liar and tried to make me feel bad for not buying the vacation package. I’ve been with T-Mobile for 16 years and never had a bad experience. They honor me as a veteran and if I call with an issue it’s fixed. Less than a year with Hilton and I’ve had 3 issues so I’m listening to the writing on the wall, I’m done. Amex already canceled!

Hi Tameka, This is the second review I have responded to regarding this situation which I do not believe has anything to do with my hotel. The only time we would cancel a reservation is if it is made with a declined credit card or is something is found to be fraudulent. I do not know that to be the case as I am not able to find our reservation information given the details on any of your reviews. As I mentioned before please feel free to contact me directly so I may better understand your specific concerns. My email address is Kenneth.White@Hilton.com Thank you Ken White General Manager Hilton Garden Inn BWI

My wife and I stayed overnight at the Hilton Garden after attending a wonder and extravagant New Years Eve gala hosted by to hotel. The event was spectacular, diverse (music and entertainment) and fun. The hotel offered a free breakfast buffet the next morning with a wide variety of breakfast foods as well as an omelet to order station. Would definitely go again.
