The Lankford is an older hotel with lots of charm. We have been staying there for over 20 years. It is in a perfect location in old Ocean City, right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, boardwalk games and a playground. It is definitely a family hotel, and not a place for young singles. more

My family & I have been staying here in the summer for years. We love it for its old time ambiance, big porches with rocking chairs, that it is family run, VERY clean, reasonably priced, ...I can go on forever. We pray that The Lankford doesn't cave in & sell to a developer. more

This will be our family's 22nd year at the Lankford. Have stayed in several different apartments at this hotel and all of them have been excellent. The "Lankford family" have been very very cordial to us over the years. Would not think of staying anyplace else in Ocean City!!! Nice family-owned hotel on the Boardwalk. Large comfortable lobby and wide porch with rocking chairs. Owners and staff quickly resolve any concerns. Returning for a second visit this summer! more

Stayed at the Lankford for one evening after spending several days at another hotel that had some faults. Wish we had spent our entire stay at the Lankford. The hotel, although old, had such charm and atmosphere, and the innkeepers were genuinely nice people. The hotel is clean and very well taken care of. I would definitely stay there again. more
