My mother and I stayed here Dec. 26-27 as we were in town to visit relatives. Overall, we really liked the hotel. Pros and Cons are listed below. As noted by others, I have some good things and some bad things to say about the Hyatt Place. Good: 1. It's much MUCH better than when it was an Amerisuites - decorating is cheerier, hotel is clean and funky looking. 2. We were delighted with this hotel - a great room (with lots of room!) , very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities necessary, including a business center, free breakfast, and free parking. The room is spacious, separate living area with couch. Beds were comfortable with enough pillows. The first thing I noticed when walking into my room was the huge sectional sofa, complete with ottoman, facing an enormous flat screen TV.
