My husband and I stayed at the Combsberry Inn last October and, overall, enjoyed the stay, especially Oxford itself--but I would not have gone back to this inn without a few changes. The inn's property is on the edge of one of the many estuaries from the Chesapeake Bay, and it is quiet and a good place to relax. On... more

We recently stayed at Combsberry. The house is large and beautiful, the location right on the water is very peaceful, and it's very close to Oxford with easy access to St. Michael's and Easton as well. Our room was lovely - comfortable and spacious, with a great view. However, the breakfasts were by far the worst I've ever had at... more

Frequently travel to the eastern shore on business, but decided to explore last weekend and came as a tourist. Usually we stay in hotels like Hamptons or Hyatts, but we wanted something different and I'm so glad we did this! I doubt our first experience in a B&B could ever be topped. If Combsberry isn't the best B&B on the... more

The property is lovely. The proximity to Oxford and Easton is perfect. This place definitely has a B&B feel so know that you are not "anonymous". It is a fantasticly romantic location and I would highly recommend you stay there. I MUST mention that the owner is so wonderful... Not that I want to set any expectations of her....but I... more

It is hard to top the raves from other reviewers for the Combsbury, but our visit this past weekend merits a try. The Inn is very tastefully furnished. The furniture is traditional style, but still has a fresh, contemporary feel. The kitchen is bright and modern, the library has ample space to stretch out with papers and a laptop. The... more

Dave and I and our babies Kasey,(Westie), Shelby and Tucker,(Scootties) enjoyed our stay very much and we highly recommend the Combsberry. The innkeeper Cathy and her babies Skeeter (welsch corgi) and Annie (Jack Russell) were the perfect hosts. The inn was beautiful, as were the public rooms and accomodations. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. What a perfect getaway for... more

The Combsberry Inn is everything we could hope for: an elegant, gracious setting; a warm and considerate host; a convenient yet private location. We continue to bask in the reflected glow of this amazing place and can hardly wait to return. Cathy is remarkable, kind and thoughtful to her guests. The period house/mansion is absolutely beautiful and the water views... more

We went to this B&B for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We had planned to use it as a base for exploring Oxford, Easton and St. Michaels. The B&B was so nice that we ended up spending most of our time there instead of going out. The room we stayed in (The Magnolia) was huge and very nice. The house was... more
