I booked a room here to cash in my reward points thru Choice Privileges. We showed up to check in and we were told by the front desk that we had to pay 18.00, I stated that I had used Reward points many times and never had to pay a penny. She told me "Don't you know that nothing is ever really free"and that I would have to pay. I called Choice and turns out I was right. (I had already known this)This hotel had just started participating and didn't know exactly how it worked. Maybe believe your prospective guest a little or when contacted by the Choice customer service people .... try believing them instead she had to speak to yet another person from Choice before she would believe what we were all telling her. Frankly I don't feel like spending 45 minutes trying to check into a questionable place to stay. (don't want to call it a Hotel) Due to the problem with the front desk and the sanding of paint going on out front in which we were covered with paint chips... more
