I recently took my fiance there to sample some of the eastern shore's culture. I looked for a quiet, romantic spot around St. Micheals. My wife and I spent our anniversary at the Loews Wharf and we had a great time. The hotel is certainly not fancy but it is clean and had everything we needed. There are certainly fancier places to stay in the area but they are much more expensive. Loews Wharf is small and has the personal feel of a family... more
