We stayed five nights prior to moving from Silver Spring to overseas, so we know the area well. The only good thing you can say about this hotel is the location and the room was fine. Ordinary. The customer service was bad beyond belief. For the price you can get a good hotel room elsewhere and service could only be... more

Nothing good to say about this place. Minute room. No wireless. Internet slower than death. Hardly any hot water. TV didn't work and they never came up to check it after repeated requests. Clean enough, but I've stayed in better tents than this. more

The only thing I found good at the Hilton was...hum...hum.... the GM was really nice to us. The rest of it was aweful. There was a mouse in our room! We also had several run ins with roaches!!!! yes roaches!!!! The room had this aweful rotten odor to it, and the hallways smelled of stale smoke even though we were... more

Rooms are pretty nice, bed comfortable. Shower is tiny, and I am not a big guy. Service was first-rate - it was the only thing that really impressed me. The hallways reek of stale smoke - it would appear that they have not updated the carpets, etc., in a long, long time - and, for the record, I smoke myself,... more

We stayed here during the Inauguration, because it was reasonably priced and near enough to a Metro stop. It's about an 8-10 minute walk from the Silver Spring Metro stop, and it is near many, many food options. There is a free shuttle that will take you within 3 miles of the hotel, but we did not use it. We... more

Pleasant hotel. Good location close to downtown. Not noisy. Suite was nice. Staff were responsive to concerns. Such as broken tv we encountered and worked to remedy the situation quickly. Bed was comfortable. Parking is extra! more

I booked a 3-day business meeting at this location, due to the need to travel to Silver Springs. The hotel rooms were reasonably clean, however my coffee area still had used cups from previous guests. They did quickly clean this up on request and seemed embarrassed. Several of the other attendees were given smoking rooms when they requested non-smoking and... more

Stayed here for 6 nights. Room was on the smallish side (912) and on the same floor as the pool/exercise room. Very limited number of channels on the TV. Staff attentive, house cleaning did a good job and even left me extra coffee when I asked. Bed was very comfortable. Nearest ice machine was on the 8th floor and didn't... more

Hotel lobby is very clean and lovely. Staff was very pleasant, we arrived after 9 p.m. so there was no crowd. The suite was small but a GREAT value for the area and nicely arranged and very clean. The breakfast was okay--overpriced, especially when there are other places to grab breakfast in the area. A metro station (both subway and... more

On a recent business stay, I found the staff to be nice and helpful. My room was small, but clean, comfortable, and adequate for my needs. The location is very convenient. On the negative side, the room decor was uninspired and I certainly will not have another dinner at their restaurant. The uneven tempertaure of the pasta I was served... more
