The hotel room was very clean, comfy bedding and pillows, nice views from hotel room, very clean bathroom with long granite counter tops, nice size tub (shower curtain and tub very clean!) and bathroom had nice fresh mint scented soaps, lotions, and shampoo, room service available (menu looked pretty good but I didnt order), nice size pool with plenty of... more

Over the past several years I have spent well over 100 nights at the Holiday Inn Solomons. Although it's an older hotel, it's recently received a great face lift. I rate hotels on 'comfort', including things like towels, bed linens and water pressure - I know it may sound strange...but those are the things that I miss the most about... more

First the goods. The place is well-located just off of highway 4. There's a very nice fitness center, good conference rooms, good continental breakfast, and front desk service was great. The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff were very polite. Wireless access is great. There's a pool too (closed right now). But the a/c in our first room didn't... more

Beautiful location on a mariana on the Patuxent River in southern Maryland, quiet. If you are lucky enough to get a suite, the outdoor balconies are a great place to sit and unwind at the end of the workday. Hotel has the best beds I have ever slept in. Many renovations are underway with restaurant and bar renovation completed. more

I have been a loyal Holiday Inn/Intercontinental Hotels guest for going on 23 years. The Holiday Inn Solomons has been my 'home away from home' since 1999 when I began traveling to Naval Air Headquarters weekly. Yes, weekly! The hotel has been undergoing constant improvement and upgrading all the while, which has recently been completed. New stylish rugs and draperies,... more

If you are a Holiday Inn Priority Club member, you'd be crazy to stay anywhere else if you have to travel to the Lexington Park area. At check in they bend over backwards to upgrade your room, give you a snack basket, a free cocktail, and a complimentary continental breakfast for every day you stay. I'm not a big breakfast... more

The hotel is located on scenic Solomon's Island, MD. All rooms have a either a beautiful water or courtyard view. Rooms are spacious and well maintained for an older hotel. One drawback - the windows are old, so the rooms tend to be a little drafty during winter months. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Priority Club members are... more

Besides location the main reason I keep coming back is the staff. I'm treated like a valued customer and that means more to me than anything else. I just flew on USAir and they could care less if I used their airline or not. I recently had the same experience with Hertz. This makes your Holiday Inn all the more... more

Except for about a year and a half break, when I had a different job, I have been staying at this hotel 3 days a week almost every week for 13 years.  I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area.  The rooms/facilities are clean and comfortable and the management and staff are the best, always. more
