We just got back from a weekend getaway to the Kent Manor Inn. My husband was participating in "Wings and Wheels" at the airport, so the Inn was very convenient and seemed like the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The grounds are beautiful. The inlet, the creek, the gardens, etc. were really nice. Our room was fine - the... more

I have been to the Eastern Shore twice so far in the month of April. Once for a business meeting and then for a retreat of sorts for a group of old friends. The retreat with friends was held at Kent Manor Inn. Such an interesting and captivating place. It felt as though we had our own estate, our own... more

The purpose of our stay was for our annual Board of Directors meeting. Many of us came a very long way for this meeting. We are all well seasoned travelers with high expectations. Well all I can say is kudos to the owners of the property and a hearty thank you to the lovely staff. more

Attended a business conference. Rooms were terribly hot. AC produced only heat, no cooling, everyone had the same complaint. The furnishings are reproductions, and some, like the cheval mirror, looked like they came from Walmart. The bathtub/shower was one of those fiberglass units, and the overall impression is that no one wanted to spend money on the bathrooms. Some people... more

Thank you very much. We appreciate your criticisms as well as compliments. The frustration of group members getting our answering machine rather than a warm body would be frustrating. One of our voice prompts provides directions when the staff is assisting other guests. All of our rooms are have wonderful, reproduction four-poster beds. Yes, the bathrooms contain the fiberglass tub/shower....

I spent 2 nights at Kent Manor Inn with my staff. This is a beautiful facility and provided the perfect setting for my teachers to rejuvenate and contemplate the beginning of another school year. The staff at Kent Manor was very attentive and made sure that our stay at the facility was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are clean and... more

Having been put in charge of finding a meeting space that was accompanied with quite a few requirements was not a task that I was looking forward to. Being a government agency, the facility had to be over 50 miles from our location in order for our team to spend the night, we had per deim mandates and the property... more

We had very high hopes for our stay here. We were not totally unhappy, but somewhat disappointed. We had attended the Chesapeake Wine Festival and then a night at the Inn as a capper for our anniversary weekend. When we arrived at about 6:00 PM, there was no one around. Not a soul. Our room key and some additional information... more

Thank you very much for your positive and constructive observations. Guest feedback is our best opportunity for correcting our Inn for future guests. During slow periods we do not normally keep staff at the Inn late into the evening. Our on site supervisor lives in the house adjacent to the Inn and provides any needed guest services. I am not...

The inn is cute and quaint and the location can't be beat. However, I don't think it was worth the $250 (with tax) we spent each night. The first night, we were unable to sleep in our reserved room due to construction and were given a room that was not water-view. The room we were moved to had only been... more

Thanks you very much for your observations about your stay at Kent Manor Inn. We are long time owners of this lovely Inn and constructive criticism is very helpful as we always seek to improve this historic building. As you observed, there are some improvements which need to be accomplished but we do the best we can considering the pressures...

I had been on the Inn's mailing list for a couple of years and finally had the opportunity to book a staff retreat here in mid April. I was more than pleased with the setting, the accomodating staff, diverse group menu selections and the comfortable guest and meeting rooms. Thank you all at Kent Manor for contributing to a memorable... more

My organization just got back from a staff retreat from this location-Ken Manor Inn and Restaurant. The location and customer service was just wonderful. It was quiet and I felt like I was staying over at a beautiful friend's mansion home, not at your ordinary box like room from the other more current hotels. Each room is unique. I know... more
