I read the Plaza is now also provides low income housing I was surprised the state would even approve it. The service and general maintance had been declining to the point of...ridiculous. Though I never chose th plaza for its ambience I had decided to stop staying there. After a couple months I decided to try again wondering if the... More

This is really not a hotel. Sadly it is a place for homeless families to stay. Bedford is a wonderful small town and the people are very nice, even in this "hotel" (not the staff) but this is more like a apartment setting and not really suited for vacation time. there is however a very nice quality inn across the... Yes this was formerly a Best Western. Also one of the few hotels in this part of Bedford. My room was clean (I booked a suite). Now it was old and certainly could have used some revamping but it was well maintained throughout my stay. There is a an indoor pool in the centre courtyard so there is a "pool... More

We made reservations at the Bedford Plaza because we were going to be in the area and my husband has fond memories of growing up in Bedford. His mom was a waitress at the hotel restaurant when it was known by another name, and he has many memories of swimming in the hotel pool. Imagine his horror when we arrived... More

I want everyone to be aware of the fact that this hotel houses a significant population of indigents. I had a relative stay there when he was visiting and what he tells me about it, I am ashamed and extremely sorry that I booked him there. Apparently there were all sorts of indigents living there which made the hotel have... More

I stayed here one night on business because the quality inn was sold out (my fault for not calling ahead). I came here and not only was the lady at check in rude she threw my keys at me. I never felt so unwelcomed in my life. I get to my room and its dingy and smelly The next day... More

I had read about welfare hotels but had never encountered one. We had booked through Expedia at a non-refundable rate. Well, the website looked good and how bad could it be? We knew something was wrong when we drove into the underground parking and saw more shopping carts and old furniture than cars. The noise of screaming children was deafening.... More

As others have said the pictures do not represent reality. This place was undeserving of a 3 star rating, it is a 2 at the most. The staff were extremely unfriendly, the rooms were dirty (hair in the tub, food on the floor, etc.) I watched one of the staff clean the lobby and it was no wonder why the... More

The rooms don't look anything like the website, dirty no room service. Bathrooms not clean need major updating mold all over shower wall. The room had a smell and no amount of lysol helped. Due to pool location rooms were very noisey even at 2 in the morning. Breakfasts was a joke dirty and not very good. Rude staff.

There are a lot of mixed reviews on this place, so I wanted to add my 2 cents. It is an oddly constructed hotel with the rooms gathered around a courtyard that contains the swimming pool and restaurant for breakfast. I feared I would hear endless noise but barely heard anything. The basement of the hotel is the parking garage... More
