Wow. Cindy and Dennis are such amazing hosts. A friend of mine was staying here and invited me for to visit cause I needed a place to crash. A beautiful old house with nice beds. Cindy refused to let me pay extra for my breakfast, even though I was only there to visit my friend. Breakfast was served on the... More

Very clean and large room with delightful mom and daughter running the house! Delicious breakfasts and to die for rhubarb confections. Bathroom was down the hall but very close and private and a robe was furnished. I could not have been more pleased. Looking for an excuse to return!

I recently did a workshop in the Buckland/Shelburne Falls area of Mass. Few options are available for lodging, but the leader of the workshop recommended the Birds Nest B&B in Buckland. What a lovely find. The B&B is located in a lovely rural area - 3 miles from the quaint village of Shelburne Falls. Located in a 200 + year... More

Just spent a weekend in Buckland, one of the hill towns of Massachusetts, whose village center is Shelburne Falls, home of the Bridge of Flowers. The Bird's Nest is a charming B&B located in "Buckland Center", located a couple of miles away from Shelburne Falls, and containing a church, a library, an historical society, and a dozen or so antique... Unfamiliar territory can be daunting when on a visit to a new area. Count on the wonderful, caring proprietors of this cozy , Historic home of one of the first women who liberated and taught girls to become educated, Mary Lyon, to take you under their wings and treat you like family. We were stranded for a few days longer... More

I chose the Bird's Nest because of the other reviews. They are all absolutely correct. Warm and welcoming. Quiet and relaxing. Fabulous food and charming company. I wanted to do something special for my 22nd wedding anniversary, and after reading about several Inns, I finally settled on this. So happy I did. Cyndy, Dennis, and Pat are the perfect hosts.... We visited the Bird's Nest B & B this past weekend in celebration of our 26th wedding anniversary and what a treat. Simple, comfortable, and charming with gracious hosts. And the breakfast was more than memorable, and served with style in a lovely setting. We will be back.

We just came back from a wonderful foliage weekend in Western Mass. and a stay at the Bird's Nest. It was a lovely, relaxing place to be and we felt like we were in a friend's home. Their cute dog Yoda was great to have around, and the breakfasts were delicious and homemade just as other commenters said. Our room... More

My family and I just returned from a long weekend in Western MA, and we completely enjoyed our stay at Bird's Nest B & B. Cyndy, Pat and Dennis are warm and delightful hosts, and their sweet little dog, Yoda, was icing on the cake. Our room was large and spacious, and very comfortable. Cyndy's breakfasts are spectacular and she... More

My wife and I just came back from three nights at the Bird’s Nest B&B during the first week in October. The facility is very comfortable and run by three very pleasant folks, Cyndy, Pat and Dennis, along with their pooch, Yoda. The owners take great pains to make you comfortable and it takes an effort to keep Cyndy from... More
