I'd read the reviews on TripAdvisor before I booked this hotel and decided there were more positive reviews than negative. I should have paid more heed to the negative. Don't believe management's comments that the odor problems are gone. Our ground-floor room had the smell, something like an antiques store. The linens were fresh, but the furniture had that old,... more

We stayed in 3 different room types in the Queen Anne Inn. The first one was the Village room, which we thought was very disappointing. Horrible pink wallpaper, noisy air-conditioning, manky bedspread. You have to pay extra for breakfast. Don't waste your money on this room. The 2nd room we stayed in was a Studio room. I think it was... more

We spent a full week in this inn. We had a nice room on the second floor. The inn is in an excellent location, one block from Main Street and one block in the other direction to a free warm water beach (free parking with facilities). This beach had a very nice view. It is not on the ocean so... more

We spent two nights in a decent room on the second floor before having to move to a "cozy" room on the third floor for $200 plus tax because the hotel had been booked. We knew that this room would be small; what we weren't prepared for was: 1. The broken air conditioner what dripped water, causing a large wet... more

We had a delightful stay for our anniversary weekend. We were greeted with chilled champagne and a very hot hot tub. The room was excellent, large and sumptuous, with Mozart provding music as we walked in. The linens, and soft furnishings were of the highest standard and we had the biggest bed I have ever seen! The staff were incredibly... more

My husband and I have stayed at the Queen Anne Inn several times in the past few years, and finally decided to write about our positive experiences We have stayed in the lower priced rooms all the way up to the Carriage house deluxe rooms. Each room in the Inn is unique, not one room is the same, even in... more

Where to even begin with our disappointment. We researched various hotels on the internet and after reading the description and seeing pictures it sounded perfect. We booked the lowest price room which was so small and in such poor condition we checked out and went home a day early. After driving six hours we checked into our room at 8pm... more

Since î read trip advisor fairly frequently, î would like to comment on our stay at the Queen Anne. We also stayed in August for 2 weeks in 2 rooms, (the Garden Cottage) and found not only the rooms to our satisfaction, but the proximity to the Children's Beach and town wonderful. During our stay, we often asked for excursion... more

Stayed here end of August 2005. Booked 3 rooms, as both my kids need seperate rooms as they are older boy/girl. So these were the cheapest rooms, but in comparison with hotels on the rest of my trip, they were very poor value; small, poorly maintained even shabby. Basically I'd apply that to the rest of the hotel areas too.Staff... more
