I loved my room. I was travelling alone to visit a relative in Chatham. The atmosphere was inviting and welcoming; yet you had your privacy. I found nothing wrong with the room; it was beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. The restaurant there had excellent food and atmosphere for an evening dinner. EVERYONE in this place was nice. more

We spent two days at the Wayside Inn in late October while assisting in a review of wedding details scheduled for late November elsewhere in Chatham. The location is right in the heart of Chatham which helps for dining in the village. Although we stayed in one of their more modest rooms in the main inn the thing that impressed... more

Well this was such a surprise, right on the main street in a gorgeous town which reminded me very much of England, that's why its New England Right? Anyway the Wayside Inn was lovely, clean and VERY comfortable. Great breakfast, which we only found out before we ate that it was included in the price, which made it much more... more

Good location, it is clean BUT outdated - - - ! I came to this quaint hamlet for the 2nd time in my mid-life. I had high hopes for the Chatham Wayside especially with the fairly expensive daily rate. Check-in was smooth and further contact with the front desk was fine. There is free Internet access with printing available in... more

We stayed in a one-room suite for a week in August with our toddler. Very nice room, but a bit on the small side given that it was described as a "suite" even though it was comprised of one-average-sized room and a bit pricey--almost $500/night. But it included a large patio overlooking a park which was very nice, peaceful. The... more

I stayed at the Wayside Inn on a 4 day business trip and could not have been more pleased. On two past visits to Chatham I stayed at the Chatham Bars Inn, which is also a great place, but the location of the Wayside can not be beat. I was traveling with two colleagues and we were so weary each... more

After the very mixed reviews we were beginning to think a three night stay at this inn would be a disappointment. On arrival in Chatham however, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the staff were and how lovely our room was. They had great facilities including a lovely pool with towels provided and access to a DVD library. The... more

We booked a room for a Memorial Day weekend wedding. It cost $135 for one night and $185 for the Saturday night of our stay. The room was reserved six months in advance, and of course charged to our credit card at that time. Arriving, we found our assigned room (now known as the infamous Room #209) to be modest... more

We have just returned from a three week trip around Cape Cod, and the Chatham Wayside was our second stop on our tour. We were a little concerned before we left the u.k. to read the comments about this hotel. There was no need to worry at all, this was a little Gem. Set on the main Street in Chatham... more
