I would say that after reading many of the negative reviews posted I was a bit afraid of booking a room at The Cohasset Harbor Resort. I spoke with a few friends that said they had heard that the town of Cohasset was much like Chatham on The Cape, which is exactly what we had been looking for but with... more

This hotel is completely overpriced. For $250 per night, you should not have to deal with musty smelling hallways and rooms, a dingy bathroom with a flickering light, or bedsheets that felt dirty. Yet at the Cohasset Harbor "Resort" that's exactly what you get. I've stayed at better roadside motels. I believe that they can get away with charging so... more

Warning: If you are not part of a wedding party stay away. For $259.00 a night we were treated to a room without any coffee maker or real soaps/shampoo. The doors bang all night and they make you sign a document that explains you will NOT get any type of refund due to noise generated by other guests (they will... more

Cohasset Harbor Inn is notorious for over charging their residents. The fact of the matter is that they basically have a monopoly in Cohasset and they can charge any rate they want. I stayed there recently and was over charged for a small dirty room with a broken heater, smelly blankets, and no refrigerator. For this price in a small... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Cohasset Harbor Resort . What a disappointment! In our opinion, it should not be considered a resort nor a 3 star but perhaps instead a two star motel. It is definitely overpriced for what you get. Our first floor room with balcony facing the harbor was plain vanilla and the view was... more

I read an entry dated 10/5/05 on trip advisor but had already made my plans to visit family and upon thier request booked at the Cohasset Harbor Inn. The 10/5/05 is clearly a review for the Red Lion Inn, another hotel that is about a mile away. Please note that my time spent at the Cohasset Harbor Inn was wonderful.... more

Awful Treatment and Customer Service. I was at a Wedding at the Red Lion Inn in September. Besides the many many issues the bridal couple had with the wedding reception itself, I will keep this review to the Inn. The entire Inn (all rooms) was rented out for the night of the wedding reception. Upon checkin a few of the... more

We stayed there over the Christmas holidays (too many people at the family's home), and were pleased to find that most of the rooms had been renovated. The staff is so nice and and helpful, and it is a lovely place. The view is great as well. I can only imagine it is great in the summer! more

We (several families) spent 4 nights at the Cohasset Harbor Inn for a wedding in early January. Pros: nice location for walks and short drives; nice free breakfast at motel with great pastries from a nearby French bakery; nice indoor pool; adequate rooms; friendly staff; decent room rate through online discount service. Cons: only one key per room; a slow-draining... more

A decent hotel but definitely not worth the money. The rooms are old an in major need of renovation. There are several other major hotels in the area and their rates are 20% lower. For the same price you can stay in a much nicer hotel and be in or much closer to Boston. If you need to stay on... more
