My husband & I stayed at the Harborside Inn in the last week of October this year. We had a leisurely & wonderful vacation at this Inn which is right on the water. The property is well maintained & the rooms are clean & tidy. Many establishments are closed at this time of the year but enough shops/art galleries/restaurants etc.... more

Harborside Inn is in a great location. The view from our second floor room was fantastic. Seems to be a timeshare as well as having hotel guests. Guests are made to feel like 2nd class citizens - you can't even get a glass of water though there is a kitchen with many facilities. The pool is lovely with lots of loungers... more

We had the misfortune of getting stuck on the Vineyard on one of the busiest tourist weekends and found a room at the Harborside at the last minute. It was the only place available, but it was a waterside suite for $500 (!). What the heck, I didnt want to sleep on the street so I took it. Jeremian room... more

Beyond the mildew smell in the hallway and the gorgeous view of Edgartown Harbor - this "Owner Run Resort" has made it all about the Owners. I would have loved access to the the six kitchen dining hall for my family of five - or the four outdoor grills and dining area - but these were available to "Owners Only".... more

Wonderful location right in the center of town, but on the water! Our room was lovely, overlooking the bay. About 10 restaurants within a few blocks, little ferry to chappy, bike rentals. Everything for a casual vacation. more

We stayed at the Harborside, having exchanged out timeshare in England. We were very happy when we saw our accommodation. We had room 204 which was a 2-bed suite as we had two friends with us. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The kitchens had every conceivable thing you could possibly want and were a very good way of... more

My husband just got back from a rather cold week at the Harborside Inn. We enjoyed our first trip to Martha's Vineyard, and thought the Harborside Inn was a very pleasant experience. We exchanged one of our timeshares to visit. Our room was a very cozy and we had a beautiful view, and the mattress was quite comfortable.. We enjoyed... more

This expensive hotel has a great location and view but the room was pitiful for $400/night. Not even close to $200 expectations. Big disappointment as the rooms were musty old and furniture was outdated. Bedding felt cheap with no luxury whatsoever. Staff was minimal and bell boy hustled for the local cab company and charged rates higher than standard. more

This is our third trip to Martha's Vineyard and to the Harborside Inn. Once again we were not disappointed both with the area and the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful and the room and kitchen area are both spotless. It is right on the harbor so from your balcony there are views of the boats and the water. Martha's... more

We found this hotel lacking New England hospitality and it did not feel like an upmarket establishment. The pool was very small. The hot tub area was very 'municipal'. Staff were not particularly friendly, help with our bags was not automatically offered. We stayed in Milton House which had the feel of a boarding house, funny smell, dirty staircase. The... more
