We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Lightkeepers Inn, Edgartown, MV. We have been visiting MV for a combined 30 plus years. Our stay has been in homes we have either owned or rented. On occasion we have stayed in a guest house or hotel only to find that the accommodations were nice but very small.... more

We have stayed at The Lightkeeper’s Inn twice, most recently this past May. Both times we enjoyed their East Chop Light Suite (Suite 5). The pictures on their website are a good representation of the interior. It’s just plain charming. The suite is one of several that are part of an old house in the heart of Edgartown. That did... more

We stayed in the cottage and found it very usable - much more so than most kitchen-equipped rooms. It was clean, very well equipped and the management very helpful. The location in Edgartown was great (we visited Chappaquiddick which is right down the road and across the inlet via the ferry). Would definitely stay here again. more

Our party of three women stayed one night at The Lightkeeper Inn on Martha's Vineyard during a fall vacation. The directions to the Inn from the Vineyard Haven ferry provided by the innkeepers were excellent and led us quickly to the Inn where we were cheerfully greeted by a staff member. We stayed in the Edgartown Light Suite, named for... more

Our stay at the Lightkeeper's Inn started out perfectly -- nice little suite, seemingly very private, and a half-bottle of champagne from the owners (whom we never met) to help celebrate our anniversary. But then I had the worst night's sleep of my life. We stayed in the Cape Pogue Suite, on the ground floor towards the back, and just... more

My friend and I just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at The Lightkeepers Inn and I am already planning a return visit with my husband and our two sons next year! Everything about our visit was perfect, due in large part to the fact that our lodging situation was ideal. The Inn is absolutely charming and our room... more

Had a great stay at Lightkeepers. The suite we stayed in was perfect, could have brought the kids (nahh!) Full sized kitchen, everyhting we needed. Could have moved in and stayed longer. We were even lucky enough to have the weather on our side. The best is location, we could we to everything. Unfortunately, the town is just waking up... more

We have just returned to the UK from a stay at the Lightkeepers Inn on Marthas Vineyard. We stayed 6 nights and were welcomed on arrival to the property and were more than satisfied with the accommodation offered. We stayed in Suite 4 and found this to be very comfortable and quiet - a complete home from home. During our... more

The Lightkeepers Inn has 5 rooms and a cottage, all equipped with bedroom, bathroom, and a delightful little living, dining, kitchen area. It is very well equipped (they even provide half-n-half in the refrigerator) and it is exceptionally clean. You feel as though you were the first peson to stay there. The two drawbacks to this location are that it's... more
