I really don't want to tell everyone about this place because our joy to stay there was the lack of guests. What a beautiful home. My wife and I felt it was the nicest inn that we have stayed, next to the Chanler inn in Newport. It is only half the price. I think is most beautiful in the morning with the sun coming though to the dining area. It is not near the water but it had a little view of buzzards bay. Even in winter, the woods that it is in is beautiful. The staff was always available and very helpful. If you travel a lot, you know that it is the most important thing next to a comfortable bed.
The owner has taken so much time to find and decorate the inn with period antiques and the warmth is not just felt from all of the fire places. I felt bad for Mike who spent most of his time tending the main fire. I own a wood stove before and it takes all of your time tending it.
