Recently stayed at the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge. Initial visual impression was a concern, but the entire staff, from owner to groundskeeper, were unbelievable in creating a friendly, welcoming and accomodating atmosphere. We have been going to the Lodge for over 30 years. The setting is peaceful, with shady areas near the pool for reading and relaxing. A shed is provided for locking up bikes. Our stay was from August 15th until August 19th. Wish we could have stayed longer. This was our last travel fling for the summer, and we could not have chosen a better area and location. Room was comfortable in corner building, however the aircon was very loud - switching on and off during the night. Convenient for beach and walking distance of 3 good restaurants: British Bar, Boatyard and Wharf where we ate at all three. The breakfast was poor, but having a fridge meant we could keep our own yoghurts and fruit. more
