SO MUCH BETTER than staying near the highway in a hotel 8 or Comfort Inn. We stayed one night in preparing for the Greenfield triathlon. Nice, clean modern rooms with a non-intrusive, efficient inn manager living upstairs. Great view off the back, 3 minutes to the highway. I stayed at the inn for two nights in mid May. The staff (Sandy) was so pleasant. I wanted a quiet weekend and she assured that is what I got. The entire inn is gorgeous and very clean. Stayed two nights in mid-October. Inn is several miles out of town on a hillside with a terrific view. Rooms are large and very quiet. Bath in our room was quite small. The West Winds is a very comfortable B&B. The view from the patio is great (check out its website), especially during peak foliage season. Rooms are very clean and spacious, and Sandi, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. She personally cooks delicious and sumptuous breakfasts on the weekends. Highly recommended! more
