We were booked in here by a travel company so we had no choice. There was no welcome, the hotel was tired and dirty, smelling of damp. There is no elevator and no help was offerred to lug our bags up the stairs. We went to the coffee shop for tea and were not given a menu, despite there being... more

I went to your resort expecting my $149.00 and could get a cup of coffee. Had to pay $5.00 for 2 small cups. I asked that someone light our fireplace (not real) and housekeeping shows up with 2 cans of lighter fuel. I think the help is still in High school, they did now very much about the hotel. The... more

We stayed in a Residence Club room at $280 for the night. The check in staff could not have been more courteous and welcoming. I had seen on the website that they allow smoking on the balcony or terrace and that was part of the reason for choosing the hotel. The room was well finished with touches of luxury, such... more

We stayed 4 nights here at the end of a 2-week touring holiday. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and very responsive to our room change request on arrival. The room was clean and well appointed but the decor was very dark and sombre. I have to say we did not use the dining facilities on site but... more

Stayed for two nights as part of a tour package. The room was spacious and clean. The resort is divided into several blocks each with two floors only. My room was a long way from the front desk. There was some renovation work in the grounds but this didn’t affect my stay. The thing that did, though, was the presence... more

Checked in on saturday afternoon. Filthy out dated room. Could not use sink in bathroom until repair to leak was made four hours after calling front desk. Receptionist attitude was "oh thats a pity." My two year old did not understand why he could not brush his teeth or wash his hands. I could not understand why we were not... more

My wife and I were traveking with a tour group and spent two nights at The Cape Codder. My wife and I were somewhat disappointed with our stay. The tub and sink drains ran very, very slowly, as though they were mostly clogged. We reported the issue to the front desk after our first night, but there was no noticeable... more

The hotel is clearly dated. You'll pass plenty of modern hotels on your way to this place and I assure you, anyone of them is where you want to be. Our first room smelled distinctly of moth balls, after calling housekeeping they came up did a thorough search a to our surprise---found no moth balls!! The lady kept saying that... more

This was our second time here. Forget the SPA and wine stuff, that’s all marketing crap. The Wave pool is great for kids and there will be plenty of them. Not for toddlers though. The lifeguards on duty are the typical teenage type. A couple did their job OK but most are more interested in talking with each other rather... more
