Yep, it's not fancy. Doesn't pretend to be. But it's clean, has great service, is safe and in a pretty location. Where else can you still stay for under $60 that has an amazing restaurant on the premises and has everything you need? We stayed here for our usual Columbus Day weekend mini vacation. Nothing has changed since the last review. The hotel needs some TLC. Have stayed at many properties in the Great Barrington-Lee area. This was about the nicest of the rooms I have stayed in, although very old and dated. The bathroom looked brand new but the rest of the furniture looked in disrepair. The breakfast only opened at 7 which was way too late for us. Most Choice Hotels start at 6AM.... More

The hotel web site has been taken down and this particular property is no longer a member of Choice Hotels. Trip Advisor should investigate whether this place is closing. We have reservations for October 5 and 6. The only way to reach the hotel is by phone. Something strange is going on.

We spent one night Labor Day Weekend at the Quality Inn. The price was low for the Berkshires and they did not require a 2 night minimum stay on a peak holiday weekend.
