We stay here annually on our twice-yearly trips to the Berkshires (and alternate with another favorite place). Richard, the host, opens his home to guests. He is a kind and gentle soul. Breakfasts tend to consist of fresh veggies from the organic garden, fresh fruit, and other yummy wholesome items. The place is very simple, rooms are comfortable and clean.... more

This was my second trip to Hawkmeadow Farm and I love the clean, reasonably priced rooms, the beautiful location, the rustic simple charm of the place, Richard's wholesome breakfasts, and of course the llamas! Don't go to Hawkmeadow if you want one of those la-dee-da B&Bs with antiques and canopy beds in every nook and cranny. Do go if you... more

First off, I am so fond of this place that I got married here! But let me share more details... My mother and I have been vacationing in the Berkshires together for over 10 years now, and once we stumbled upon Hawkmeadow Farm, we were hooked. We have returned now nearly every year for almost 8 years because we love... more

This was my second stay at Hawkmeadow farm, a B & B in Lee, MA. It was a great weekend. We had a room with a fabulous view of the Berkshire hills. The location was convenient and quiet, our room with private bath spacious, clean and comfortable. Richard made delicious, wholesome breakfasts and helped with our questions on places to... more

We had an awesome time at this guesthouse and organic farm in the Berkshires. Sitting on rocking chairs on the front porch we could see all the way across the mountains into the Catskills. The fragrance of lilacs surrounding the guesthouse was intoxicating, and we felt as though we had received a free aromatherapy session. The guesthouse owner was friendly... more

We stayed here a year ago and had a really nice time. So nice, that we invited friends up to join us this time. How embarrassing it was for us when we saw that their bathroom had not been cleaned in quite some time (hairs and scum in the shower/tub, dirty sink, dust everywhere). Making matters worse, when they requested... more

we tried to contact the proprietor of this B&B multiple times before we left boston, but since he didn't call us back after our messages, we drove up there anyway, (guessing that if it didn't work out, we could find another place pretty easily, which we did). the location of the inn was BEAUTIFUL. totally private, long, picturesque driveway, away... more

We stayed there with two couples and three kids age 7 to 11. The view in the morning when we woke up was stunning. It's a beautifull very well maintained property. We saw the llamas grazing from our window. Inside everything is immaculate and cosy - wood burning fireplace. The owner cooks up an awesome breakfast and he is a... more

This place was really special - I went for the llama trek, which was delightful, lovely animals. A real plus was the room (we had the room with private bath) which had a great view of the llamas plus the best setup for reading, which we like to do before bed - excellent reading lamps plus a sitting area with... more
