My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Seven Hills Inn. The proprietors were warm and helpful; very focused on customer service. We stayed in the Mansion, whose common spaces are large and gracious without feeling stuffy. Just looking out at the beautiful grounds through the leaded windows put us in instant vacation mode. The Mansion is unusually... more

The old elegance of this mansion is blooming again. Looks like the new owners who bought it in 2008 are polishing it to its former glory and running with class. It needed someone who loved it for the majestic place it really is. Great to see it reborn. I stayed in a serene victorian room, very quiet. The tone of... more

The Seven Hills Inn is a beautiful sanctuary for rest and relaxation. The rooms are comfortable with hard wood floors and antiques to set the atmosphere of a home away from home. Even in November the grounds were beautiful and the weather was nice. The continental breakfast during the week and the hot buffets on the weekend were delicious. The... more

This hotel is in desperate need of renovation and new furnishings. The photos on the hotel website are misleading, and make it look much better than it is in reality. The furnishings in our room looked as if they came from a recycling center (i.e town dump). The bed was extremely uncomfortable, bathroom fixtures were falling off, and upholstery was... more

You'll feel like you've stepped back in time - but with modern conveniences - at this inn. RIght next door to The Mount, you'll expect Edith Wharton herself to walk across the lawn and come right in the front door! The friendly hosts could not have been more welcoming, and the delicious, informal breakfast buffet was a great place to... more

My wife and I spent a week at Seven Hills and it was the most relaxing yet exciting vacation we had experienced. The warm and friendly hosts made us feel as if we were family. I would and am recomending this fine Inn to all my friends and relatives. more

Hmm I must be missing something. Perhaps we stayed in one of the older rooms and thus missed the greatness that the other reviewers experienced. As a whole, my husband and I were very disappointed with our stay. Let me preface by saying that we travel a lot, and we've stayed everywhere from inexpensive hole-in-the-walls to the four seasons, depending... more

We stayed here for two nights in Oct 08 whilst touring the area. We stayed in one of the best rooms in the main house, and this was really very nice. The new owners have not had the property very long and clearly have plans or improvement. I do think they have their work cut out as it does need... more

For our first trip to the Berkshires, in early October 2008, our family stayed at the Seven Hills Inn in Lenox, MA. We had a fantastic time. The accommodations were wonderful and the innkeepers were incredibly cordial. When asked, the innkeepers gently provided excellent advice regarding local dining and entertainment. We were impressed by the area's charm and enjoyed the... more

The Seven Hills Inn & Restaurant is a wonderful little gem tucked away in the Berkshires. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft and the breakfast is incredible. The owners are friendly and welcoming. If you're going up to the Berkshires, make this your place to stay. more
