My husband and I were searching for a relaxing and luxurious place to spend the weekend in the Berkshires near a bit of hiking/walking and found it at Stonover Farm. Unlike other B&Bs, their website is an accurate representation of the grounds and the real thing is even better in person. We stayed at The Cottage and enjoyed every minute... more

As I was researching bed and breakfasts for our first trip to the Berkshires, I noticed that so many of the places were the typical "victorian charmer." I'm not a big fan. I like a bit more of a contemporary feel with lots of space to breathe. One day, I stumbled across Stonover Farm on a website that listed a... more

Stunningly beautiful Bed and Breakfast located in the glorious Berkshires. Superbly stylish, eclectic farmhouse with 3 dining areas, 2 sitting rooms, guest kitchen and study with internet access. Large interesting library of DVD and CD's and lots of good books and art. We stayed in the Schoolhouse which is located within the wonderful gardens overlooking the duck pond and hammock.... more

This is a great, small B&B. Rooms are lovely. Bathrooms are great too. The owners are very relaxed, welcoming, and interesting. If you like B&Bs this is a great spot. The wine and cheese offered every afternoon is really nice and the breakfast is good. But this is a very small place. So if you don't like a place that... more

We just arrived home from our third visit to Stonover Farm. There are good reasons to make return visits to this beautiful B&B. If quality is your criteria, then you will be happy visiting Stonover, over and over! It is colorful and cheerful, and fully caters to the guests. As other reviews have reflected, there is wonderful wine and cheeses... more

We stayed in Suite 2, which was lovely with a fireplace and a great jacuzzi tub, although it was situated over the parking and main entrance, which might not appeal to some. That said, the decor was amazing and the room and bed were extremely comfortable. Everything is very clean, well maintained and the attention to detail is everywhere. The... more

The entry submitted before mine has saved me a lot of effort. It covered just about every experience we had (even stayed in the same room -- #3) except for a few other comments. We recently returned from a 3 day stay with both innkeepers present. Tom and Suky were both delightful hosts. We also met interesting and friendly guests,... more

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Stonover Farm. I'm not sure what room we stayed in, but I can't think of one negative thing to say. Our room looked over the front lawn, had a king size bed. There was a small sitting area immediately on entry, followed by bedroom area, with bath off of that area. The... more

I just came back from 4 nighrs stay at Stonover Farm. I took my parents who came from overseas and my son, (18 months old) and this was the best place to stay with family. We stayed in the Rock Cottage whicch sits up on the hill of the estate, and it was so quiet. We didn't have to worry... more

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stonover Farm in Lenox. Their website prepares one for a refined and up-to-date room, and certainly ours was that, but we were also blown away by the common areas of the inn - the art collection is amazing. the breakfasts were fantastic and the wine social hours were really fun. We stayed in... more
