There is a reason the rates are so low for this place The rooms are filthy! I fell into the cheap trap figuring it would be an okay place because a site on the web showed a photo of the Mayflower's sign with an AAA logo attached at the bottom of the sign. The AAA logo was not on the sign when we got there. I can understand a little mold in the grout in the tub, but not the mold covering the insides of the windows and windowsills. Everything in the room was dusty and our "non-smoking" room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Since we arrived late and didn't have time to find another place. We stayed for one night. (We had made reservations for 3 nights) Big mistake, I have bad allergies and that morning I was a mess. My husband was totally disgusted too. The chairs apholstery had stains on them my husband pointed out some that looked like blood. We were both afraid to walk barefoot on the rug god only knows if there was mold in that too it sure smelled like it. Our feet stuck... more
