A Holiday Inn Express in Ludlow? Yes, and a very nice one at that!!
This hotel has undergone a recent renovation and the transformation is excellent. The rooms are fresh, the beds firm, plentiful pillows and soft towels in the bathrooms make for a good experience. Fast wifi & a great selection of TV channels are a much appreciated bonus! I also liked having a mini-fridge and microwave in my room.
A well-stocked breakfast is served every morning from 6-10, eat in or take back to your room if you like. A great pool/jacuzzi and exercise room are an unexpected perk that most smaller hotels lack. Weather can disrupt power but everything was back up quickly. Hotel staff are friendly and attentive, often anticipating what I needed without even asking - nice! :-)
